Hiya!
March is over and we cannot believe how quickly this year is going, it is crazy! Anyway, we thought that we would do our March Favourites, however seeing as there are two of us we narrowed the amount of products down to around 5 each so we wouldn't bore you to death! Without further a do here are our favourites...
*Zainab's Favourites*
MAC eyeliner, Origins Sunny Disposition bronzer, MAC Paint Pot,
Sleek lip conditioner and ELF Tinted Moisturiser.
MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder
This eyeliner is great! It glides on so smoothly and is absolutley perfect for lining the waterline and I even use it for my upper lash line. For a pencil eyeliner it surprisingly stays rather well and the pigmentation is amazing!
MAC Paint Point in Constructivist
MAC Paint Pots have a lot of hype surrounding them, and I can definitely see why. They are great as a base for shadow or just for using solely as a lid colour. Constructivist is highly pigmented and has a very light and creamy texture. My only criticism is that it does tend to crease a little.
Origins Sunny Disposition Bronzing Powder
This bronzer is great and I cannot say anything bad about it! It has no shimmer, sparkle and is extremely natural, and was very hard to try and capture it in the picture. However it is build able and it creates a lovely look. I don't think Origins counters sell make-up anymore though so you may have to hunt for it online.
ELF Studio Tinted Moisturiser
Seeing as it is starting to get slightly warmer in England I have rediscovered my tinted moisturiser and for £3.50 you really cannot go wrong. It is very light and I have pretty dry skin it leaves it moisturised with a dewy glow. This product has received mixed opinions but personally I can't fault it- I recommend trying it out and if you don't like it, it won't have broken your wallet.
Sleek Tinted Lip Conditioner in Pink Cadillac
At first glance it looks quite intimidating and bright but once applied it settles down to a really pretty pink. It is very moisturising and is very compact and fits easily into your bag. I apply it with my fingers and love how it looks!
*Farah's Favourites*
MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque
I love using this paint pot when I'm in a rush and I just want a quick colour on my lid, I just put some liner and mascara on as well and BAM I'm done, and it looks like I put a lot more effort into my makeup but I really didn't. I also love using this to put under my eyeshadows to use as a primer when I'm doing a goldy or peachy look! The one downside to the paint pots is that they do tend to crease when you wear them by themselves for 4+ hours, but that problem can easily be solved by just applying a eye shadow primer underneath. But overall a fab product!
Bourjois Regard Effet Duochrome eyeliner in Brown
I've recently got into brown eyeliner, I've never been much of a black eyeliner wearer but I've seemed to love wearing this, during March. I love putting this on my waterline for definition and for a bit of a smokey look. Also, For days when I don't want to wear liquid eyeliner I put this on my upper lash line.
L'Oreal Paris Super Liner in Black Lacquer
This liquid eyeliner comes of so pigmented, unlike others I have tried when you have to shake them to get more out! It's really easy to put on, as it has quite a long felt tip applicator! It also lasts so long! For school I usually put it on at around 6:30am and when I come home at 5pm ( yeah I have a long school day!) it is still there and has hardly budged, but it is quite hard to take off! Overall it's a fab eyeliner and I totally recommend it to everyone!
MAC Sheertone Blush in Blushbaby I bought this blush a few months ago, and it was totally worth it, it has such a natrual look for those 'I'm not wearing makeup days' however it is very build able if you want it more pink, but if you acne like me it looks really nice because it doesn't draw attention to the blemishes!
Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Foundation
If you have acne prone skin or oily skin like me then this foundation is perfect for it- it's called anti- blemish solutions for a reason! It obviously doesn't get rid of spots but it does prevent any more from appearing! It is full coverage but can be lighter if you just don't build it up and it has a matte finish. This is probably my 3rd one and I've been using it for about a year and a half and I haven't got any bad things to say about it!
Coastal Scents Camo Quad Colour Corrector in Light
There was a camo quad hype on YouTube and blogs about 2 years ago. I think and I got mine a while back, but recently I rediscovered it. I find if I put on the green concealer on my red spots before my foundation it makes my foundation a lot more natural looking! But to be honest I only like the green one, because the other ones aren't really the right consistency to be an under eye concealer.
