MAC blot powder pressed review!

Hey everyone!

Today I'm going to be doing a review on the blot powder pressed from MAC. Being a big fan and owner of MAC powders, I had high hopes for this powder and it didn't disappoint!

Its a bit messy, but thats what it looks like!

About my skin; I have really oily skin and acne prone skin and this by no means causes break outs! I basically wanted something to use to touch up during the day without looking cakey. This powder is seriously a MAC cult, Once you've appled it to your oily area (T Zone) or all over if you are that prone to oil/shine, there's hardly a need to reapply, that's how well it works. You could apply it 100 times if you wanted as it will never look cakey. It is so transparent! The packaging is really good too, nice and sleek, and comes with a compact mirror for easy on-the-go application :)

Anyway here are some pics to prove how well it works!
( If your wondering how I am so oily haha, its because I had school, then went straight to the gym! )

Well yeah my lovely oily skin.

A little demo.

I did add a bit of lasting perfection concealer from collection 2000 on the blemishes.
But thats the finished result!

OOTD: Cinema!

Hiya!

So recently (MAR 23rd) The Hunger Games was released and being a MASSIVE fan of the books I had to go see the film. I thought that it was amazing, however, if you are like me and have read the books you will know that some things were not the same and some parts which I thought were quite significant were left out, but other than a few minor things, it was definately amazing!
Heres what I wore when I went, as I went in the evening it wasn't extremely warm, and being England it isn't very warm anyway, although there seems to be an exception for the weekend that has just been as temperatures reached around 18 °C!

A FUBTABULOUS book review. After by Amy Efaw

Hey everyone!

Recently I read After by Amy Efaw because I noticed it was 'recommended' to me on Amazon when I was purchasing a few books, well out of the three books I bought, that was actually my favourite.

In summary, the book is about a teenage girl, named Devon. She has a baby, and puts it in a 'dumpster.' I'm sure many of you have heard about the 'dumpster baby' phenomenon.I remember reading a book a bit similar to that by Jaqueline Wilson when I was younger.haha It involves her going to a juvenile detention centre and going to court, which was very interesting to read.

"You've done the unthinkable, what happens .... A F T E R "

It's a different perspective to the teenage pregnancy these days. It changes the way that you think about it, and for a book to do that, it is quite powerful.I really liked the ending, it was completely not what I was expecting and was written with such emotion.

I would recommend this book to everyone, as cliche as it sounds, I just couldn't put the book down! One of the best books I've read so far this year, by far.

As you can see, I'm really into it. haha
